A list of ingredients used in the creation of our product line has been compiled below. This list is to be used as an educational tool to help understand the properties of each ingredient and to understand the beneficial aspects of some of our favorite natural ingredients. Again, this list is for informational purposes only and is not designed to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness or injury.

Essential oil dry distilled from the resin. Warming in nature. Soft, sweet, vanilla-like scent.

Cardamom Elettaria cardamomum
Essential oil steam distilled from the dried ripe seeds. Warming in nature. Harmonizes digestion. Strong, spicy scent.

Clary Sage Salvia sclarea
Essential oil steam distilled from flowering tops and leaves. Neutral and drying in nature. Its scent strikes a balance between stimulation and relaxation. Sweet, nutty, herbaceous scent.

Cocoa Absolute Theobroma cacao
Absolute: solvent extraction from the cacao bean. Intoxicating scent.

Coriander Coriandrum sativum
Essential oil steam distilled from the crushed ripe seeds. Warming in nature. Strong, spicy, sharp scent.

Geranium Pelargonium graveolens
Essential oil steam distilled from the leaves and flowers. Cooling and moistening. An excellent tonic for the skin. Sweet, floral and slightly minty scent.

Ginger Zingiber officinalis
Essential oil steam distilled from the rhizome. Warming and invigorating. Considered a tonic for the body, aiding digestion, nausea, cold hands and feet. Also a tonic for the immune system primarily when the body is under going a cold (chills, runny nose, clear nasal discharge). Spicy, sharp scent.

Jasmine Absolute Jasmine grandiflorum
Absolute: solvent extraction from flowers. Relaxing, soothing and uplifting. Rich, warm, floral scent with tea-like undertones.

Lavender Lavandula angustifolia
Essential oil steam distilled from the flower. Cools heat and inflammation. Has an antiseptic quality. Soothes nervous tension and relaxes and calms the mind. Sweet, floral-herbaceous scent.

Lime Citrus aurantifolia
Essential oil steam distilled from the whole ripe fruit. Uplifting and rejuvenating. Fresh, sweet, zesty scent.

Mandarin Citrus reticulate
Essential oil cold expressed from the outer fruit peel. Unblocks and circulates stagnant energy. Aids digestion. Relaxing. Useful for skin congestion, fluid retention, digestive problems, and nervous tension. Spicy, sweet scent.

Nutmeg Myristica fragrans
Essential oil steam distilled from the ground seeds. Warming. Strong spicy scent.

Orange Citrus sinensis
Essential oil expressed from fresh fruit peels. Soothing and uplifting. Sweet, fresh, fruity scent.

Peppermint Mentha piperita
Essential oil steam distilled from the flowering herb. Cooling and drying. Fresh, cool, pungent, sweet and minty scent.

Petitgrain Citrus aurantium Essential oil steam distilled from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree. Fresh, floral, citrus scent with herbaceous undertones.

Rose Otto Rose damascene
Essential oil hydro-distilled from the petals. Cools heat and moistens dryness. Nurtures the feminine energy (yin) of the body. Uplifting and tonifying. Sweet, floral scent.

Vanilla (CO2 distillate) Vanilla plantifolia
Essential oil extracted via carbon dioxide at high pressure and low temperature. This process produces a pure essential oil without solvent residues. The aroma matches the aroma of the plant. Normal vanilla is extracted with alcohol as the solvent and will retain the alcohol scent. Warming and comforting. Aids digestion. Sweet scent.

Ylang Ylang Cananga odorata genuina

Essential oil steam distilled from the flowers. Cools heat, moistens dryness and calms the nervous system. It has a sweet, floral-balsamic, spicy scent.

Apricot Kernel Oil Prunus armeniaca
Base oil extracted from the seed kernel of the fruit. A light oil that is high in vitamin A. Nourishes dehydrated, delicate and sensitive skin.

Avocado Oil Persea americana
Base oil cold pressed from the avocado flesh. High content of essential fatty acids, beta carotene and vitamin E. Recommended for dry, dehydrated skin.

Cocoa Butter Theobroma cacao
Solid fat expressed from the roasted cocoa beans. A skin emollient and conditioner.

Hazelnut Oil Corylus avellana
Base oil warm pressed from the nut. Contains linolenic acid. Has a strong, sweet, nutty aroma. Penetrates the skin quickly and is slightly astringent.

Kukui Nut Oil Aleurites moluccana
Base oil pressed from the nut of the kukui tree. High in linoleic and linolenic acids. Quickly absorbed into the skin.

Macadamia Oil Macadamia integrifolia and M. ternifolia
Base oil pressed from the macadamia nut. Contains palmitoleic acid, which is an essential fatty acid found in sebum. Emollient, absorbs quickly into the skin, sometimes known as “the vanishing oil”.

Mango Butter Mangifera Indica
Derived from the seed kernel of the mango fruit. Melts upon contact with the skin. Emollient.

Rosehip Seed Oil Rosa mosqueta
Base oil cold pressed from the amber colored seed. Grown in Chile. High in GLA (gamma linoleic acid). Regenerative, emollient.

Shea Butter Butyrospermum parkii
Butter expressed from the seed of the Karite Tree, which is indigenous to west and central Africa. High in vitamins A and E. Regenerating, moisturizing, revitalizing, and soothing. Melts on contact with the skin. Absorbs quickly.

Virgin Coconut Oil

Cocos Nucifera

Base oil cold pressed from the coconut. A semi-solid at room temperature with a distinct coconut scent. A viscous oil with odor absorbing qualities. Moisturizes and conditions.

Colloidal Oatmeal Avena sativa
Finely ground oatmeal that will completely mix with another medium (eg. water). Useful for coating, moisturizing, softening and protecting the skin when mixed with water.

Dead Sea Salt Sodium Chloride Mineral-rich, revitalizes the skin and helps draw out toxins.

Goat Milk, powdered and whole Goat Milk Power Soothes and moisturizes the skin.

Hops Flowers Humulus lupulus Cooling and relaxing.

Jasmine Flowers Jasminum officinale
Floral scent with tea-like undertones.

Lavender Buds Lavandula officinalis Sweet, floral-herbaceous scent.

Orange Peel Citrus sinensis Sweet, fresh, fruity scent.

Passionflower Passiflora incarnata Calming and relaxing.

Peppermint Leaves Mentha piperita Fresh, cool, pungent, sweet and minty scent.

Rose Petals Rosa spp. Sweet, floral scent.

Vanilla Bean Vanilla planifolia
Seeds from the ripened pod.

Vitamin E Tocopherol
An essential fat-soluble vitamin. May help to decrease the harmful effects of solar radiation on the skin when used topically. Promotes healing while moisturizing the skin. Used as an antioxidant to slow the onset of rancidity in oils and fats.

Whole Milk, powdered Whole Dry Milk Soothes and moisturizes the skin.
